CHOOSING A MACHINE
When choosing a power tool for garden maintenance it is useful to start with these three questions in mind:
1.How much work will the machine do (domestic use, regular commercial work etc)?
2.What type of work will the machine do (regular maintenance of gardens, occasional tidy ups, heavy slashing etc)?
3.What are the capabilities of the user (size and strength of the user, experience level etc)?
Its also useful to place the machines in three broad categories:
1.Home use these are the simplest and/or lightest machines
2.Mid-range these include more features including power and ergonomics
3.Commercial these are often higher powered and/or include specialised features.
Once, you have considered these factors, see below for more detail on how these considerations apply to the four most common machines. Feel free to give us a call or drop into our showroom if you have any questions or would like some advice on choosing the right machine for you.
